Cancellation Policy
At MPU-Nordrhein, we aim to offer high-quality services with fairness and transparency. Below you will find our cancellation terms for consultations, courses, and other booked services.
1. Right of Withdrawal (for Consumers)
If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to your commercial nor self-employed professional activity), you have the right to withdraw from a service contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal Period:
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
You must inform us (MPU-Nordrhein, [insert address], Email: [insert email]) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not required.
Consequences of Withdrawal:
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (if applicable), within 14 days from the day we receive your cancellation. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment you used in the original transaction.
If services have already been partially rendered before the withdrawal, a pro-rata fee will be charged for the portion already delivered.
2. Cancellation of Appointments or Courses
For cancellations outside the legal withdrawal period or in cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply (e.g., business clients), the following rules apply:
Cancellations up to 7 days before the appointment/course: No cancellation fee; full refund.
Cancellations 3–6 days before: 50% of the service fee will be charged.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before: 100% of the service fee will be charged (no refund), unless a valid reason is provided (e.g., medical emergency with proof).
3. Missed Appointments
If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the full fee is due. We ask for your understanding, as we reserve time specifically for your consultation.
4. Rescheduling
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to find an alternative date at no extra cost.
5. Exceptions and Special Cases
In individual cases (e.g., force majeure, sudden illness), we may waive cancellation fees at our discretion upon receiving reasonable proof.
